Environmental Poem

Today in ruma tahi with my writing kaiako Mrs Bava we were writing environmental poems.

I found it easy to choose what I wanted to right my poem about because I really like flowers and the colour blue because flowers make me happy.

I found it hard to put words down when I was writing my poem because I was finding it difficult to think of some descriptive words.

Next time I will try to make my poems more descriptive.

My Favourite Time Of The Day

 Today in ruma tahi with Mr Barclay we were writing about our favourite time of the day.

I found it easy to get my work done because I was trying my hardest to ignore the person that was distracting me. 

I found it hard to concentrate because the person next to me was singing to loud.

Next time I will try to add more to my writing.

Wild Lab Writing

Today in writing with my kaiako Mrs Bava, we were writing recounts about our Wild Lab trip or the Awapuni School Fun Run.

I found it easy to write my story because I can remember exactly what had happened on the trip. 

I found it hard to go through my writing and find mistakes because I didn't really have many mistakes but I ended up re-crafting instead. 

Next time I will make sure to find more ways to start my paragraph instead of using the basic words.

Matariki Art Animation Mahi

Today in ruma rua we were creating animations to go with our Matariki art mahi.

I found it easy to think of a good story for my Matariki animation because we were researching about the stories of Matariki with my kaiako Mrs Gomm.

I found it hard to remember this story because we done research quit a while ago.

Next time I will try to make my animation a bit better.

Matariki Art Mahi

Today in ruma rua we were making Matariki art projects for our art exhibition.

I found it easy to put my Matariki paragraph in because I have been doing some Matariki writing with my kaiako Mrs Gomm.

I found it hard to do mahi because the others sitting next to me where being distractions.

Next time I will try to make my art a little bit more bigger.

Matariki Report Writing

Over the past 3 weeks we have been learning about Matariki and report writing.

I found it easy to decorate and make my slide look cool.

I found it hard to write my report because it was quite hard.

Next time I will try to make my writing a little more better.

The Castle In The Distance

A Castle In The Distance. As the mysterious bridge, mossy and overgrown curves in the distance leading to an outstanding what seems to be the view of an old castle. Even though the bridge looked untrustworthy you walk across it walking very slowly not to break a brick with your weight. Slowly the castle comes into a better view than before but the pretty view you saw before was much better. As you jump on the driveway leading inside the spooky house Afraid of what lies inside.̈Brrrrr,̈ you say Coldly, as you are freezing to death out in the cold driveway. ̈maybe, I could rest here for now ̈ as you walk into the old scary house you look behind you and notice the bridge is shining with colour you then look around to see what's causing the beautiful colours you look at the beautiful blue and green ocean underneath the bridge you say to yourself ¨Well that can't be causing it ̈ So you look up into the colourful sky and notice that it is reflecting onto the bridge mind:so that's what's making the bridge look so colourful and shiny. As you knock on the old wooden door no one answers you wait a minute until you knock again no one answers once again  ̈ oh  well¨ so you walk into the mysterious house nothing happens but you feel like someone is still watching you. You feel afraid as you lay down on the cold wooden ground and fall fast asleep forgetting what had happened. And all about the old mysterious castle. By Kristie-lee.M 11\11\19
